Brown Sugar

The Brown Sugar we see in use today is not as natural as its counter part Cane Sugar. The Brown Sugar is a mix between white sugar and molasses. This is what gives it is coloring agent mix. Adding the molasses does make this sugar a lot sweeter than regular table sugar.

Most baked dessert recipes ask for this and it is great for glazing certain vegetables to help bring the acidity down and get the natural oils such as onions and radishes.
